May 7, 2010, Newsletter Issue #70: Exercise - is there anything it doesnŽt do?

Tip of the Week

Ask just about anyone the one thing they should be doing, but arenŽt and chances are youŽll hear exercise. Research into the prevention of cancer has shown that regular exercise (a minimum of four hours per week) reduces your chances of developing certain cancers by 37%. In addition, regular exercise builds bones, reduces fat, and strengthens the muscles. Also, if you do develop cancer, you stand a better chance of beating it if youŽre strong and healthy before hand.
